I have been using this for almost 3 years now, and it is still going strong. Given the quality of the leather and the ease of inserting refills, I expect that I'll be using this for decades to come.
The zip pocket on the outside is handy. If I wanted to I could replace my wallet with this as well - the card slots inside would work nicely. All in all a good product, if a little chunkier than I would like... but then it contains everything I need, so I'm not sure it could be smaller and as effective anyway.

I had a pocket Maldon Filofax previously, and have since outgrown that. I wanted to upgrade to a personal Filofax, but didn’t want it to be ‘all over the place’. The zipped Lockwood seemed a perfect idea. When I received it, it was exactly that. I can keep more in it, as well as keeping it neat and tidy, which is a weakness of mine. Well worth the upgrade.

I was so surprised when I heard that most people don't opt for a zipped planner. This was my first, and it really is lovely quality leather. I now use a Lockwood in Aqua, which doesn't seem to be available anymore for some reason.. I love the colour and wouldn't dump it for anything... I just wish there was a zipped option for the Aqua too! There's something satisfying about being able to zip everything up securely with no need for any buttons, and I love the two external pockets for anything you need to keep accessible. The Lockwood zip will always be my favourite!
