Sleek premium leather organiser with compact construction and nostalgic minimalist design. The classic 'file-of-facts' revived. Features a functional leather insert featuring one ID pocket, one slip pocket and one elastic pen loop.
Please note: Exact ring mechanism measurements can vary depending on the date of manufacture. A5 Compact size organisers made before August 2021 come with slightly smaller 15mm rings; those made from August 2021 onward contain 20mm rings.

I bought my first Filofax in 1985, so we celebrated our 39th. anniversary together earlier this month! It's a personal-sized organiser which I now use as my address book.
As I've never learnt to write very small (unless I grit my teeth!), I have tried a couple of A5 organisers over the past year or two, and found them too fat (and the leather one too heavy) to carry around with me.
So I decided to buy the A5 compact as a Christmas present to myself, though I wasn't sure how I would get on without any sort of fastening. It's PERFECT - I have enough space to write without clenching my jaw, there's enough room for all the info which I want to carry around with me, it isn't as heavy as the other A5 leather organisers, and I just wish I'd bought one sooner!

I wrote a review about my organiser ( you will see my original thread). I was contacted by return and Wow it was sorted in quick time and to my complete satisfaction. If more companies operated like this it would be a very different world in which to do business. Thank you Theodora a fantastic credit to you and Filofax.
I love my Heritage note book it's really good and I loved the initial quality. Over time the internal spine has separated from the main cover and the internal leather has broken up and whilst the outside looks great still the internal not so hot. despite all this I love it but given its price I would expect better.
