I've been using my personal size Filofax for around 14 years and every year I squeeze the previous year's diary and any archive notes and inserts into the bag that the new diary has arrived in. I had no idea that these binders existed, what a great idea! I bought a couple to try out and will be buying more. The plastic is flexible and strong enough to withstand the fairly tough tug needed to open the folder. Inside there are 2 metal posts that fit through the central holes top and bottom on the organiser pages. Once the pages are loaded they can only be rearranged or read by taking the whole lot off the posts and then replacing them so, as this is mainly for archiving, I'd suggest making a note of the contents order at the front. I can fit 2 years of diary or one diary plus archived notes and bits into a folder with room enough that the contents don't pop off the posts when the file is opened. The posts have an indent around them about 2/3mm from the top and this "clicks" into a receiving button on the front inner cover, just like a press fastener. The folder is grey and the positions of the fasteners are marked with matching grey covers. On the back the posts are anchored firmly by round silver metal fittings. There is a clear label cover at the top of the spine containing a label 5.5cm x 1.8cm so that the contents can be clearly identified. The Filofax name is on the front and the "F" logo is on the spine, both in white. I really like the simple colour scheme and branding. Before buying I felt that these folders were a bit pricy so I got them at at reduced price on Black Friday, but I don't think that there's another product like this available, and it certainly beats cramming a used diary etc into a flimsy plastic bag! I don't anticipate having to check stuff regularly so theses folders are perfect for my needs and I plan to buy more when I see them on offer.

Hi. I have been buying Filofax products since 1988. When I ordered 3 binders this week I thought they were black - like the other 36 that I have; they arrived in grey for some reason … ?! Please offer the black kind as an option at least .. life’s too short for negativity but I was a little disappointed. Thanks and regards, Andros

I have used the storage binders for many years and I liked the simplicity and anonymity of black. Why change something that isn’t broken? This would usually garner 5 stars from me but changing it to grey has certainly knocked some stars off.
